Project Description

The district has partnered with Columbus State Community College, Eastland- Fairfield Career & Technical School, and Gahanna YMCA to include several learning institutions under one roof. Quandel also completed the first floor tenant build-out simultaneously with the upper floors; saving both Gahanna-Jefferson and the individual tenants money through coordination of the two projects.

Some key project features include, innovative learning and funding models, combining K-12, higher education, and commercial spaces under one roof as part of the Ohio School Facilities Commission’s Expedited Local Partnership Program. Local participation was encouraged and Quandel was able to facilitate 95% of the construction dollars spent on this project by companies within a 21 mile radius of the project.
