Project Description

In an effort to revitalize the City of Hazleton, Downtown Hazleton Development hired Quandel Construction as the General Contractor for renovations to the former Traders Bank Building. The seven-story building was designed as a two-story bank facility with small mezzanine and five remaining upper levels of general office space.

Quandel is renovating all seven floors and basement of this 50,400 square foot historic building. Renovations include removal and replacement of at least three separate roof areas and skylights, complete façade restoration along Wyoming Avenue and Broad Street, replacement of 206 perimeter window units, and HVAC rooftop support steel on main roof. Interior finishes to the center core area, modifications to stairwell railing systems, new building infrastructure system, as well as a new pair of restrooms on each floor are also part of the project.
