Despite difficult budget constraints, Quandel was able to keep costs down through contract negotiations and value engineering.
Renovations to church consisted of selective site demolition, site excavation, removal of the existing concrete main entrance and ramp way, installation of a new concrete entrance, handicapped ramp and railings, masonry restoration, re-pointing, cast stone, joint sealants, new roofing system, repairs to existing rain leaders, HVAC upgrades and equipment replacement, as well as fire alarm system and electrical upgrades. Also part of the project, the rectory received a new roof, replacement windows, new siding, repair of interior ceilings and walls caused by water damage, and a new kitchen.
The project was completed on time and within the negotiated construction cost.
