The Maryland Stadium Authority, worked closely with the Babe Ruth Museum and J. Vinton Schafer to successfully complete the major restoration and expansion of the 4 story, 44,000 square foot historic building. Major renovations were performed to the building’s plaster, windows, fixtures, prominent staircases, and entrances. The project also included the expansion/addition of restrooms, elevators, mechanical and electrical systems, security, HVAC and fire alarm systems, and installation of lighting, video, and sound equipment. The work transformed this train station into a building that houses the Maryland Sports Legends and Babe Ruth Museum.

I want to express my gratitude for your services on the renovation of Camden station. Your entire staff should be commended… the preconstruction framework assuring an adequate budget for this complex scope… and the leadership and technical abilities provided during the construction phase was an essential element of our success.
