Project Description
Quandel completed the construction of Geisinger Health System’s Foss Home addition and renovation project. Originally built in the early 1900’s as the home of Geisinger’s first surgeon, Dr. Harold Foss, the building now houses offices for Geisinger’s executive administration.
Renovations totaling 13,000 sq. ft. included structural modifications, electrical rewiring, data and technology wiring, as well as new heating, air conditioning, sprinkler, and plumbing systems. Architectural revisions consisted of floor plan
modifications that involve new partitions, ceilings, finishes, and various intricate moldings and
The 11,000 sq. ft. addition to the existing structure includes new patio areas, conference rooms, offices, support space, archive storage, elevator, and main entrance. A new parking area, sidewalks, landscaping, and realignment of the
existing driveway were also completed.
