Project Description

Hired to construct Lock Haven University’s new Student Recreation Center and complete renovations to the University’s Stevenson Library, Quandel delivered general contracting and value engineering expertise to both projects in order to ensure budget adherence, on-time completion, and a superb finished product.

A state-of-the-art fitness facility, the Student Recreation Center includes a four-lane track, tennis and racquetball courts, a 30-foot-high climbing wall, a dance and exercise room, and three multipurpose gym spaces. The Recreation Center also features a 4,200 sq. ft. strength training and cardiovascular area. Renovations to Stevenson Library included an interior overhaul designed to provide students with an interactive learning experience featuring today’s newest technology.

A true team player, Quandel was able to make sure that everyone involved in the construction of our new Recreation Center delivered exceptional work as the project progressed.
