Northeast Radiation Oncology Center
Sinking Spring, PA
Started during the coldest winter in recent years, the Northeast Radiation Oncology Center was successfully constructed by Quandel with strict attention to budget and deadline. As part of the construction process, Quandel erected a temporary shelter, which was used to construct a linear vault. Pouring concrete for this accelerator was done in one continuous pour of 620 cubic yards in 14 straight hours.
Northeast Radiation Oncology Center is attached to an existing cancer treatment facility, which Quandel also managed the construction of, without causing disruption or inconvenience to the daily routine of employees and patients using the facilit.
