Luerssen Building Renovations
The Luerssen Building was built in 1972 and was the first building at the Penn State Berks Campus, in Reading, PA. Luerssen houses classrooms, faculty offices, engineering labs, a computer center, animal science lab, biology labs and occupational therapy labs.
Quandel Construction served as the General Contractor to renovate this 55,000 SF facility and provide badly needed science facilities and general academic classroom space. Luerssen now houses the Biology, Physics and Chemistry Departments, 12 General Academic Classrooms and Computer Labs, as well as the IT Department and Campus Police.
