A state-of-the-art gross anatomy lab was constructed as part of the renovation project. Specific requirements for this type of laboratory included separate HVAC, MEP, and electrical systems. Quandel renovated space that formerly housed undergraduate students. The new space now contains a state-of-the-art gross anatomy lab, clinical skills center, and classrooms, which will be used to educate medical students during their first two years of medical school. The project finished on schedule and under budget. I was very pleased with Quandel -- they were professional and valued problem solvers throughout the entire project. Due to the successful outcome, I am pleased to announce that Quandel has been retained to manage and construct our new $115 million Medical Sciences Building.
