Project Description
Quandel managed the construction of converting the former Bon-Ton flagship store into the York County Government Center.
Quandel’s construction management skills saved the York County Commissioners more than $200,000 on their Government Center project, enabling them to install a second elevator in the three-story building, expand the parking lot and replace exterior light fixtures. The contract included asbestos removal and demolition of a warehouse behind the historic former Bon-Ton building, which was constructed in 1912, in downtown York prior to gutting the building’s interior and restoring its terracotta and glass exterior.
The Government Center houses offices for the Commissioners, other County officials and human service agencies.
