Serving as the General Contractor and concrete contractor, Performance managed excavation, rock anchor, and utility slip-lining subcontracts. Complete demolition of the existing spillway and construction of the new 3800 CY cast-in-place concrete spillway is the only evidence that a construction project occurred on this site. Beneath the soils of the earthen embankment lays 11,000 CY of roller compacted concrete. The process took 2 months to complete, working evening/night hours due to temperature restrictions. This project marked Performance Construction Services’ second self-performed RCC project with the consultation of Gears, Inc.
