The $60 million project includes housing for approximately 400 students, an external gathering space with fire pit, second-story outdoor plaza, two lounges on every floor, and a “green” roof.
Providing services for the entire campus community, the ground floor of the seven-story building consists of the University Store, two new dining venues and district cooling plant, while the first floor houses campus mail services and an integrative learning area. The remaining six floors consists of suite-style student residences for up to four students. Associated utility infrastructure, site development, and landscaping were also part of the project.
Construction began in April 2016 with the building ready for occupancy in August 2017.
