Pyramid Construction Services, LLC served as the Construction Manager at-Risk for the development of a new 38,000-square-foot nursing education facility at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania. This state-of-the-art academic building expands the college’s health sciences footprint and supports the growing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The two-story facility is structurally connected to the Jeanne and Edward H. Arnold Health Professions Pavilion, enhancing campus flow and program integration.
state-of-the-art learning environment
Constructed with structural steel framing and composite beam floor systems, the building features an internal concrete retaining wall that supports a basement mechanical area on the east side. The first floor replicates a real-world hospital environment with five advanced simulation labs for labor and delivery, pediatrics, critical care/ICU, and medical-surgical training. Each lab is equipped with high-fidelity simulation mannequins and integrated video technology to support hands-on education and performance review. Additional first-floor features include classrooms, debriefing rooms, and an open atrium lobby for student gathering.
The second floor houses administrative offices, multiple classrooms, a meeting room, and a dedicated nursing skills lab. Designed for immersive learning, the facility allows students to sharpen clinical reasoning, develop technical skills, and practice culturally competent, patient-centered care across diverse healthcare scenarios.
