Keystone Building

Teamed in association with CRSS Constructors, Inc., Quandel served as construction manager for the demolition of the former Transportation and Safety Building in downtown Harrisburg and the construction of the new Keystone Building on the same site.
Harrisburg, PA

Project Details.

A three-phase project, the completion of the Keystone Building involved the abatement of hazardous materials throughout the Transportation and Safety Building, the implosion of that facility, and the construction of a new 940,000 square foot office building.

A state-of-the-art office facility, the Keystone Building was designed to retain the exterior character and scale of Harrisburg’s historic Capitol Complex. A combination of traditional architectural facades and open interior design schemes, the building provides a productive work environment with the flexibility to adapt to evolving technology, work methods and organizational structures. In addition, the Keystone Building is a “green building,” meaning it was constructed with environmentally safe materials.
