The 120,000 square foot Center, which was technically challenging and required coordination between numerous designers and subcontractors, was completed on schedule in just 18 months.
The DeNaples Center is LEED® Certified and features a state-of-the-art HVAC system. As the main hub for campus activities, the Center houses the mail center, bookstore, retail dining, student forum, Office of University Ministries, Office of Student Affairs, dining area, ballrooms, meeting rooms, auditorium and catering kitchen.
The Patrick and Margaret Denaples center was the largest construction project in the history of the university. We selected Quandel for their experienced team of professionals who worked diligently to complete the project on time and under budget. The value and cost control initiatives Quandel put into place were fantastic. We had an aggressive multi-million dollar contingency plan in place that, in the end, was not needed because Quandel was able to maximize our value in every aspect.
