The Quandel Company is founded by Emil Quandel as a limekiln and building materials supplier in Minersville, Pennsylvania

1937

Noble Quandel, Sr., becomes the third-generation successor of the Quandel Company.

1974

Quandel wins its first million-dollar project.

1986

Quandel relocates its headquarter’s office to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

2001

Quandel opens full-service office in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

2003

Quandel Enterprises became holding company to Quandel family of companies.

2009

Quandel’s headquarter office relocates to Front Street in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

2014

Quandel climbs to 200 on the ENR Top 400 Contractors list.

2020

Gregory Quandel is named chief executive officer of Quandel Enterprises, becoming the fifth-generation successor of the company.

1895

Charles Quandel becomes the second-generation successor of the Quandel Company.

1942

Quandel opens its first concrete plant.

1977

Noble (Bud) Quandel, Jr., becomes president and chief executive officer, making Quandel a fourth-generation, family-owned business.

1995

Quandel forms Performance Construction Company, located in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

2004

Quandel acquires Pyramid Construction Services, LLC located in Wormleysburg, Pennsylvania.

2010

Quandel acquires J. Vinton Schafer Construction, LLC, located in Abingdon, Maryland.

2019

Quandel’s headquarter office relocates to Market Place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
